Join our mission to create a better environment for Disabled and Homeless Veterans
Connie Mustipher-Staples, a native Floridian, is a mother of one with a blended family. A family that includes two sons, two daughters and five grandchildren. It is an honor to have a daughter who has served in the Air Force, a part of my blended family.
Blended is very descriptive of who I am. My talents and experiences are indeed blended. Providing counseling services to juvenile delinquents, an investigator and supervisor of children and families involved in child abuse and neglect, assisting a Boston non-profit to establish a facility for troubled youth, psychological in-home services and counseling for the elderly (including veterans), worked closely to assist a veteran in remodeling his home and making it handicap accessible, and provided housing for low-income and homeless families valued at one million dollars (1,000,000.00) for eleven families in partnership with HUD.
Serving on non-profit boards is not foreign to me. I have served on non-profit boards focusing on education, housing, job placement, clothing, and food banks.
Blending my training, education, and skills to assist children, families, and the homeless in pursuit of a safe, secure, and healthy environment is who I am.
